Hey kids! I hope your summer has been great thus far. It's been wonderful here!! I just wanted to share a little bit about my experience in Gatlinburg. Have you ever been to Gatlinburg before? It's a wonderful place to go to relax and experience the mountains and the nature. I was able to take some trips up the mountains on the trails (the picture is Laurel Falls Trail). You know what I saw along the way - a black bear and two cubs (see the picture above). Wow! I love nature! It's amazing what God has created! Oh, even though I'm somewhat afraid of heights I took the skylift up to the top of the mountain and the airtram through Gatlinburg. The views are breathtaking!! Also, if you haven't been to the aquarium at Gatlinburg - it's AMAZING! It's one of the best I've seen before. Well I'm outta here for now - I'll start summer classes tomorrow - uggggggh! Anyway, tell me about your summer so far!!!!
P.S. If you haven't picked up a Parent magazine yet - you've got to! Caulyn is on the front cover! Congratulations Caulyn - you look great!!

Hey Caitlyn, you are going to have an awesome time in Piegon Forge. They have many games, fun, and entertainment for the whole family. As it relates to the bear, I wasn't scared at first. However, when the Park Rangers came the "big bear" jump upon the tree. This is when I became scared (LAUGH). You know how I am - Mr. Willis was scared too. He was actually ready to go back, but we moved forward up to the top of the mountain.
Oh, I am not tutoring for the summer,however you are welcome to visit me at church one Sunday. Or, if your at the movies on a Friday night at Opry Mills we can meet there. I miss you'll too!

Oh, the "UP" movie is suppose to be great! 3-D is even better!! I actually wanted to take my nephew to see that movie.

Hey Caitlyn, we've watched "Dance Flick" that was kind of "stupid funny". I want to real funny like the old movie "BIG MAMA" with Martin Lawerance. Remember that one? That's what I'm talking about 'funnnnnnyyyyy'. I will keep looking..
