Parents and Students:
Now that you have the name of your famous African- American, it’s time to begin your research and get started on your cereal box! Remember that we are looking for you to be creative. Use your very best handwriting or type your information. Everything you put on your cereal box must be created by the student. You should not copy information from your sources; make sure you put it in your own words. Please do not use notebook paper on your cereal box. Creativity and neatness are especially important for this assignment. We expect to see evidence of hard work! These cereal boxes will be used as decorations for our program and will be an important part of your Social Studies grade for these nine weeks. Have fun learning about the contributions of these great Americans! If you have any questions, as always please email or call me. Projects are due on Feb. 27th.
You will see an example of the cereal box in the picture.
