On Friday, we were almost finished with our book "Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes". We read the last sentence and it stated that "Sadako made her last paper crane". What do you think will happen to Sadako and why?
On another note, Sadako wanted to spread a message of peace and hope. In our world today, what kind of message do you want to send? What our some things you can do to make a difference in our community? Think about some things that are going on in our world and community today like war, people who are still homeless, in hospitals, and people that are sick like Sadako. In addition, to the many other events that happen in and around us today.

Hi Ms.Bell i have read the book it is so sad at the end i know she going to die.I cried when my second grade teacher read me that part. I know her family was sad as I was I have went though that alot these past years.Im wonder how she got sick she was nowhere over there .I hope I never go though that in my life.Bye

I think that she died. because the book said she never woke up and that might mean she has died. and it was the last crane she ever made.she died of leukemia.the book was very sad.Im glad I am not her.I would not want to die like that.Iwant to die when I am old.becauseI want to see alot In life.
